Data Request Form
From Financial Consumer Agency of CanadaThank you for your interest in the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada’s (FCAC or Agency) data. FCAC is pleased to share datasets to advance knowledge in the field of financial literacy and financial consumer protection.
The following anonymized Datasets are available for request:
- Monthly Financial Well-being Monitor (formerly known as the COVID-19 Financial Well-being Survey)
- 2019 Canadian Financial Capability Survey
- 2018 Financial Well-being Survey
You can request access to one or more Datasets by following the 6 steps below:
- Step 1: Select the Dataset(s) you would like to request
- Step 2: Read and agree to the Data Sharing Terms of Use
- Step 3: Complete the Data Request Form
- Step 4: (Optional) Provide additional information
- Step 5: Review your submission
- Step 6: Submit your request
A final decision will be provided after FCAC evaluates your submission. FCAC may follow up to request additional information.
Before you proceed, please note:
- Submitting your request does not guarantee that you will gain access to the Dataset(s).
- If you are requesting Dataset(s) for different projects, please submit a new request for each project.
- More than one person may have access to the Dataset(s). Information on your project and contact information for all persons who will access the Dataset(s) is required to complete the Data Request Form.
- Please ensure that all persons who will have access to the Dataset(s) review the Data Sharing Terms of Use and provide their details in the Data Request Form prior to submitting the request.
- Each Dataset is provided in .csv, .dta (STATA) and .sav (SPSS) alongside the questionnaire and relevant reports. Datasets and corresponding resources are provided in English and French.
