From Financial Consumer Agency of Canada

You can find the complaint-handling process for a federally regulated financial entity by searching below. These entities include financial institutions, external complaints bodies and payment card network operators.

When you find the complaint-handling process, follow the steps in the order in which they are listed.

Note: The search tool uses the legal name of federally regulated financial entities. These can sometimes be different from the common name you are familiar with. For example, the legal name of TD Canada Trust is The Toronto-Dominion Bank, and the legal name of Scotiabank is The Bank of Nova Scotia.

Search by using only part of the name of the entity. For example, “Scotia” or “Montreal.”
